What a busy month it has been at Arrowhead Elementary. It is hard to believe Friday will be the Inside Our Schools (Saint George Spectrum) end of the trimester. The following week, Nov. 10 to 13, will be SEP week. This is a useful time when parents, teachers and students meet together to go over the progress of the students.

American Legion Post 425 will meet Saturday, Oct. 25, at the post home on Weavers Chapel Road, Daily Herald (Roanoke Rapids Daily Herald) Littleton. The Littleton Daily Herald (Roanoke Rapids Daily Herald) Senior Citizens will sell chicken and fish dinners on Friday, Nov. 7, at The Littleton Community Center, 238 Oak St., Littleton. Dinners will be ready by 11 a.m., eat in or take out.
